Everton U21 coach Paul Tait is delighted with the progress of Youssef Chermiti.

The attacker scored twice in Monday's Premier League International Cup win against Fulham.

Tait told evertonfc.com: "Youssef worked very hard.

If you're playing as a nine and you put a shift in, you get your rewards, which he did tonight."

Senior pair Michael Keane and Nathan Patterson also featured, with the former scoring.

Keano's attitude was excellent. He headed everything that came into our box, and he got us a really important goal from a set-piece. Patto was excellent and really helped us out," added Tait.
